Josie Gibson

Josie Diane Shirley Gibson is a 25-year-old Financial Sales Rep from Bristol. At the age of 14 she left her parents’ home to live at her aunt’s farm, where she still lives.

She was the first contestant to be selected by Big Brother to be a housemate on Day 1. Throughout her stay she only received five nominations and never once faced the public vote. She also entered into a romantic relationship with fellow housemate John James, since leaving the house the pair have confirmed they are a couple. Fellow housemate Sam Pepper announced on Twitter that he will soon be living with John James and Josie.

On Day 66, she was voted by her fellow housemates to win a ticket to the final of BB 2010, and on Day 77, she won Big Brother 2010 and the £100,000 prize, with 77.5% of the five-way vote to win. After being interviewed by Davina, she re-entered the house a mere twenty minutes later to compete in Ultimate Big Brother. However, on Day 3 of that series, she walked.
